    Training Program (15)

    Yes.  Our instructors would with the participating students to gain access to the available programs.  Once you are in the program, we train and prepare each student for these opportunities.

    Yes.  Our goal is to ensure that all students have a clear plan for how they can pay for their classes.

    Upon completion of the application process, our staff will meet with each student to establish a plan for the specific amounts that can be paid each month or agreed upon period.

    No you do not.  Our program focuses on providing training opportunities to many in the community who need help but may not have completed these levels of education.

    The training program has a specific curriculum that will be completed within the 6 month period.

    Generally speaking, our programs are 6 months in length.  At the end of each session, testing, certification, and registration are completed for those students who successfully complete the program.

    At the end of training, for those who successfully complete the tests, you will

    • obtain your NCCER certification and get registered in the database
    • be ready to go on interviews
    • as positions are available, be offered employment with one of our partner companies

    All training is held at our Charlotte, NC

    At this time, there are no online classes offered.

    The tuition costs are established based on the session but generally $4000 for a 6 month training period.

    The costs cover books, school shirt, classroom training, certification process, equipment and tools (upon graduation).

    Scholarships, grants, and funding are available.

    Payment plans are available.

    Our next enrollment period is in October 2018.

    Our programs are for adolescents, recent high school graduates, ex-offenders, unemployed and underemployed men and women, veterans, dislocated workers, and anyone else who is re-entering the community or struggling to find work in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

    You can expect to have an appointment with our team for your basic reading and math test and your application to receive funding or grant to cover the costs of the program.
